Experiencing Numbness And Tingling In The Skin Of My Shin. Healing Time?
After snowmobiling last week, I experienced numbness and tingling in the skin on the front of my shin. The skin was cold but there was no discoloration. Now a week later, I m still experiencing tingling and numbness. How long should this take to go away?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Sulochana's Response
Hello, Thank you for writing to HCM.
There is very less fat below the shin, so it is more prone for dehydration and xerosis (dryness). Due to which you feel numbness and tingling in the skin. There is nothing to worry, use ureativ 10 cream (moisturiser) daily night. It will take 2 to 3 days for the symptoms to subside completely.
Regards
