Experiencing Pain At The Right Back Of The Thoracic Area

My husband experiences an odd pain on the right thorasic area of his back every time he eats. The location of the pain is almost at his side, but radiates to the back area too. What could cause this strange pain that happens only while he s eating?

hello and welcome health care magic,

A pain which occurs especially on eating and that too only one side or area could be many things including a simple reflux or gastritis or ulcer or could be a rare condition like ischemia of a blood vessel supplying your stomach.

In any case you must consult your ENT and also a gastroenterologist as soon as possible so that a proper diagnosis and treatment can be initiated.

Hope this helps

regards
