Hello,

You are experiencing pain, burning and urgency in urination. You had menstruations but are again noticing blood in the morning. You have taken 2 iPills in a gap of 10 days and are sexually active. I-pills create hormonal imbalance causing low estrogen levels that affect the mucosa of the various organs of the body, they also make the tissues drier hence making them more prone to infections.

Contraceptive pills or I-pills when taken continuously for a long period may drain vital minerals like vitamin C, B and zinc that support our immune system and keep us protected from infections. Taking pills means being comparatively more sexually active, infections may crop up after sex if hygiene is not maintained or because of infected partner. Condoms can also transfer bacteria and other options like diaphragms or spermicides risk changing the internal environment of the vagina.

The pH of the vagina is well equipped for fending off bacteria but when deliberately changed it can make it more infection prone. Get clinically examined by a GP, get urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done to detect UTI. If found positive you will be accordingly treated. In the meantime, take good quality cranberry juice and limit the amount of caffeine intake.

Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
