Experiencing Pain During Swallowing , What Is The Problem ?

A few days ago I was eating a piece of candy as soon as I stuck my tongue out I felt something pop underneath and its been sore and it had gotten worse now taking swallowing and eating causes it to be very painful to do something just sitting here it hurts

Thanks for your query.
Dysphagia or painful swallowing may be a manifestation of posterior pharyngitis which may be due to viral infection.
Get some analgesics, hot saline gargle, betadine gargle....And if not responding, visit your physician to get antibiotics like amoxycillin-clavulanic acid prescribed because bacterial infection may supervene viral one....
