Experiencing Pain In Middle Of My Chest After Coughing

Hi I ve had a cough for about three days like and its that kind of ugly cough that makes your voice hoarse and all that and recently after coughing ive been havng pain in the middle of my chest does that mean im dying or something?(I can be melodramatic metimes)

Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should first undergo chest x ray. Cough , fever and pain in chest may be due to pneumonia. So better to rule out this first. If x ray is normal than you may have GERD (GastroEsophagealRefluxDisease). In this due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter the acid of the stomach can back up in the esophagus and this can cause cough with burning central pain. So consult your doctor and get done chest x ray.
