I'm really scared because I don't know what's going on. I had sex on saturday and i bled right after, I've never had that happen to me before. Then my cycle came on today, it's early, I'm having really bad cramps, mind you I don't ever get cramps and it has a strong odor to it.
Straining the pelvic and abdominal muscles during sex can sometimes lead to cramping. Tight muscles or working the muscle in an awkward position can cause cramps. Abdominal cramps and strong vaginal odor can be be caused by fungal or bacterial infections.
You may require an antibiotic course for 5 days to reduce the infection. Antispasmodics can also be used. Vaginal smear and pelvic ultrasound may be needed if the symptoms continue even after treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
