Experiencing Tightness On The Left Side Of The Chest

I was taking ciprofloxacin hcl 500 mg twice, prescription was for 7 days , but I stopped after 5 days, I am having tightness on my left chest for 4 days, I went to acupuncture today, no improvement, the tight ness and the stiff ness of the left chest remains unchaged, is it due to cipro

I can understand your concern.
Yes, possibility of ciprofloxacin induced gastritis is more for your left sided chest discomfort.
But better to first get done ecg and 2d echo to rule out cardiac cause for this.
If both are normal, than no need to worry for heart diseases.
Ciprofloxacin is antibiotic and known to cause gastritis. Gastritis can cause left sided chest pain, tightness, stiffness etc.
So you need proton pump inhibitors (antacid) for relief. Also avoid stress and tension. Avoid hot and spicy food. Don't worry, you will be alright.
