Extreme Thirst, Frequent Urination. Is It Related To Alcohol Consumption?

SOMETIMES I HAVE AN INCREASE THIRST BUT EVERY NITE I HAVE TO URINATE A LARGE AMOUNT OF URINE APROXIMATELY EVERY HOUR -MAYBE 4 TIMES THRU A 7 HOUR SLEEP II NEVER LOOSE CONTROL OF MY BLADDER DURING DAY OR NITE SLEEPING BUT THE LAYING DOWN SEEMS TO GENERATE A RELEASE OF LIQUID-NO REAL PROBLEM FROM THIS BUT IT IS WORSE IN WINTER AND SOMEWHAT UPSETTING TO A NITES SLEEP-IF I DRINK MORE LATE I NEED TO URINATE MORE-VERY LITTLE ACHOAL IN MY DIET

Thanks for your query.
I would advise you to get the following tests done:
1) Urine R&M
2) Fasting and 2 hr post lunch blood glucose levels
Keep a frequency-volume chart (amount of urine passed each time for 24 hrs)
Cut back on the use of Coffee, tea and drink less fluids after 8 pm.
Once we have the results from the above tests we will be able to offer you more suggestions.
