Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello,

The shaking of eyes is called nystagmus. There are many congenital causes for nystagmus. It is not exactly a disease but tells that there is an underlying eye problem which is interfering with the vision. No it is not heriditary per se ( but its causative diseases could be). You need to consult an ophthalmologist so as to know the cause of the nystagmus.

Regards
