Eyes Are Red, Itchy. On Eye Drops. Clear Up For Few Hours. Din't Worsen. Time To Heal?

I left basic training nearly three weeks ago and I am currently training for AIT right noe. My eyes have been red, itchy, and irritated for nearly 4weeks or so. I went to the doctor and they prescribed me some eye drops ; my eyes would clear up for a couple of hours but then go back to its previous stage. Although it has not worsen, I need to get my eyes back to its normal color and feeling. Please help

Hello,
It seems from the history that you are having inflammation of conjunctiva probably allergic in nature.
The treatment of allergic inflammations usually is time consuming and requires treatment for long time.
The first step is to identify the allergen and to avoid if possible. The second step is by using medications in the from of eye drops.
Do continue the drops as advised by your doctor and if you want more information please do mention the name of the eye drops which you are using, so that I can suggest you alternate eye drops.
