Face Has Been Flushed With Bad Headache And Problem With Sleep After Changing From Effexor To SR 150
My face has been flushed for two days and I have had a wicked headache in addition. Having problems with sleep. I just recently changed from taking 50mg of Effexor two times a day to a SR 150 one time a day. Could this cause the headache or face flushing?

If you are experiencing these symptoms, then these could be probably due to change of formulation of the drug along with other factors (as these are not mentioned in the query so commenting on those is not possible). But, to rule out the formulation factor, you can simply try taking it the way you were taking it earlier and check if it relieves your symptoms.
Also, please take care that Effexor needs to be taken with food without disruption of the drug form (capsule) means Do not crush, chew, break, or open an extended-release tablet or capsule. Swallow it whole.
Also get your concomitant medications checked with your prescriber to rule out any possible interaction.
