General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for consulting HCM.
Blood in the urine can be caused by bladder stones or kidney stones or it may be cause by UTi which is common in women and those who are sexually active.
I suggest you get ultrasound KUB done to rule out any stones, and get a urine routine examination and culture done to rule out infection.
Take tablet ciproxin 500mg twice daily for 3 days to cover UTI and drink plenty of fluids.
Regards.
