Feel Swollen, Stiff Middle Knuckle On Middle Finger. Difficult Bending, Painful, After Sometime Normal
For a several nights the past 2 weeks, but not every night, the middle knuckle on my left middle finger gets very stiff and feels swollen. There is no visible swelling... It looks normal, but is difficult to bend and somewhat painful. As I get up and start moving around, it subsides dramatically, and after an hour feels normal.

Hi, I can sort of understand your problem. Finger joint pain is often caused by excessive force to the joint ( we often don't realize the injury) while doing something, or during sports. These small joints are very sensitive to injury and take 4-8 weeks to heal completely. Sometimes inflammatory conditions like gout, rheumatism can cause joint swelling and pain.
