Feeling Sleepy, Bloated And Having Cramps. Taking Depo Shot. Should I Be Worried?

Good afternoon Mr. Doctor , i had a question to ask .i been on depo for 9 months, I'll was suppose to get my depo shot on feb-23-2013 and i choose not to . i been feeling wierd , sleepy , bloated , sometimes cramps , cnt sleep at night can i be pregnant ? sometimes i feel dizzy cnt keep my food down . i went to the docter like 3 weeks ago and did a blood work but the day after i recieved my results and i was negative. did urine test and negative .. should i get tested again ?

Hello,
I went through your problems. The complaints you have are most likely to be the withdrawal symptoms of Inj Depo-Provera. The pregnancy test by strip method in the urine and blood pregnancy test in the lab are negative for you. No need for any more tests.
Most of the withdrawal symptoms are due to anxiety and depression. If the symptoms are severe and can't be tolerated, you can take medication for anxiety and depression or as per symptoms.
