Feeling Weak Along With Dull Pain In Chest And Low BP

For sometime now I get very weak after I eat. Feels like my blood pressure drops drastically. This weakness is accompianed by a dull pain in my left chest front and back. This doesn t just occurs after I eat but also randomly, and more frequently. I have taken my bp at times and it went from my normal 120/70 to 70/55. What is going on? Went to the Dr. Once he complimented me on my low bp because I exercise and watch my diet. I feel something is wrong. Can u help?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Causes of low BP are:
1. Infection
2. Cardiogenic shock
3. Water loss
4. Blood loss
5. Severe anemia

Rule out these and till diagnosis use intravenous fluids regularly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
