Feels Like Scratch In The Eye With Discomfort. Black Light Test Revealed Nothing. What Does It Indicate?

A couple weeks ago I went into the emergency room because my right eye felt like it was scratched or had something in it. Under the bottom eyelid, in the inside, it was all puffy. Well today, currently, it has happened again and the bottom right corner feels like there is something in there when I blink. The doctor at the emergency room told me after she did a black light test that there was no scratch on the eye or anything in the eye. It was some eye problem that starts with an "e"

Thanks for posting on HCM,

The condition if related to lower eyelid maybe entropion. Entropion is the turning in of an edge of an eyelid, causing the lashes to rub against the eye. It usually is seen on the lower eyelid. Risk factors for entropion are: aging, chemical burn, and infection with trachoma.
If your eye specialist was able to detect the condition, then I guess he/she might have provided you with some appropriate treatment.
