Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

In any case of head injury, it is mandatory to have a CT scan or MRI scan to rule out any intracranial hemorrhage which could be extra dural, subdural hematomas. These hematoma's may occur immediately after injury or as late as 2 weeks after injury.

As you are experiencing severe headache along with other symptomatology, its always better to get an evaluation done.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
