Felt Sensation Of Gripping In Chest, Discomfort When Inhaling, Pain During Morning Walk. Got BP
last week when i was driving i felt a sensation of gripping in left side o fthe chest, slight discomfort when inhaling. this lasted for may be 15 minutes and subsided. I am 43 yrs old male. Had BP of 140/100 few months ago. not on medication. Now under control. My father grand parents had paralysis attack.
Slight pain when i go for walking in the morning. A few months ago had pain in th echest after heated discussion in office.
what has to be made out of above symptoms. kindly advice.

These symptoms correspond to angina (pain due to narrowing of blood vessels of Heart) most probably, however it may also be due to some minor Muscle ache in chest wall muscles also I would advise you to undergo treadmill stress test, lipid profile, BP check to see if it is due to heart problem. If Treadmill test comes positive then life long Asprin and angioplasty is usually recommended You must visit a cardiologist soon
