Fingers Twisted, Getting Pain, Numbness Throughout Arm, Taken Cap, No Relief. What Should Do?

Hi. What happened, was my friend had a grip around my left wrist (we were fooling around). I tried to twist out of their grip, and since their thumb was gripped over their finger (right in the joint between forearm and hand), I couldn t twist out and they felt a popping feeling. This was 2 days ago. I experienced pain for the first 36 hours, but I am now experiencing numbness throughout my left arm (including my fingers, wrist, and hand), and my hand was very swollen earlier (I have since taken the tensor bandage off and taken ibuprofen, and the swelling has mostly gone down). Wondering what the heck I did, and what I should do.

Hello,

Swelling and numbness indicates soft tissue injury, nerve injury with or without fracture of the bone.

In this situation I advice may patient to take X ray of the area.
Put him on analgesic and immobilize and rest the injured arm.
