Fishy/rotten Meat Odor From Rectum, Constant Bowel Movement. On Vitamin, Thyroxin Supplements. Diagnosed Low Kidney Function. Suggestions?

hello,
This is very embarrassing. I am having an odor from my rectum, it is like fishy or rotten meat. I also have a feeling of having to have a bowel movement constantly, no matter what I do...laxatives, suppositories don't even empty my system. I take thyroxin, calcium, vitamin D, fish oil, biotin, vit C, and herbal supplements for hair loss. My dr told me recently I have very low kidney function. not sure why this is happening. It is really upsetting and isolating for me.

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. I feel there is nothing embarrassing about the issue you are having. I am glad you came out with this condition. It may be the start of a journey that will make you feel better. You will at least get to know what it is if you visit with a surgeon and get a per rectal examination done. I hope this helps.

Take care and have a lovely day~!
