Flashing Lights, Cob Web And Large Star When Closing Eye. Treatment?

I am staying Newport, NH and am trying to find a retinal ophthalomogist incase I need one in an emergency..
I have have seen my regular eye doctor in NJ two times last week... I have flashing lights, a cob web and
a large star when I close my eye...I am 74, female and in good health otherwise.. Thank you.. Janice Rainey

Your 74 years old and in this age ophthalmic problems are more common and prominent, and that need to be examined by ophthalmologist, while closing eye and see something, it does not indicate any thing bad with eyes, still I would advise you to consult the eye specialist, take a good care of your self.
