Fluctuating BP. Prescribed Prolomet XL. Correct Treatment?

I had BP 150/80 sometime 140/90 and some days 130/80.I felt uncompfortable at 150 BP and had giddiness and difficulty in walking. One day I almost collapsed this was due to gas in my stomach which came out subsequently and I felt relieved.I ahd Hyderabadi biryani for lunch that day which is heavy. Some time I had BP in night and I took ECG which was ok but my BP came to 150.Is it rightt to take Prolomet XL -50 morning and prolomet xl -25 as advised by my doctor.
