Fluid Collection Below Umbilicus And Pain On The Site Of Laparoscopy. Had Laparoscopic And Open Surgery For Excition Of The Endometriotic Nodule. Cause Of Recurrence And Remedy?
Doctor i had a laproscopic and open surgery aroud 3 months ago,reason that excition of the endomeriotic nodules from the cessarian scar .now i got fluid collection just below the ublicus were laproscop was inserted,that showed in the ultrasound ,that area is very painful and tender....What i need to do now?Why this happening continusosly? What is the reason for endomeriotic nodule? Please give me the answewrs Thanking you jubina

I think you mean Endometriosis by endometrial nodule.This is a condition where endometrial tissue appears in the scar tissue and other pelvic organs and respond to hormones same as it does in the endometrium and produce symptoms.Such nodules have to be removed.
The collection of water in the port scar could be a complication caused due to dehiscence in the layers of the abdomen.Such fluid has to be aspirated as it can get infected and lead to complications.

I understand your concern.
You need a course of sensitive antibiotics. If need arises, surgical drainage may be required.
Recurrent infection may be the cause of it.
