Follicle Ovaries, Abdominal Pain After Intercourse, Delayed Periods. Problem?

Hi, i have small multiple folicles ovaries on both the side, i have taken ultra sound scan and doctor have suggested me a tablet Krimson 35, i'm using this tablet. last saturday i had a relationship with my bf and from sunday my abdominal pains very badly, i use to get this pain when ever i'm having a relationship with my bf, i'm 23yrs old. please tel me why iam getting this pain, and also what is folicles ovaries why this form, is becos of relationship this folicles form ?. my periods also getting delayed. Please help me to knw about this.

Hello and welcome to HCM,

Presence of multiple follicles and prescription of krimson 35 tablets suggest a diagnosis of poly cystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
PCOS is a condition in which multiple follicles mature in the ovaries but none is able to release of ovum.
There is a maturation arrest.
Treatment is aimed to break this maturation arrest and allow the release of ova.
Abdominal pain after intercourse suggests pelvic inflammatory disease.
However, this is just one of the many causes of pain after intercourse.
But PCOS is not characterized by this kind of pain.
Some other cause has to be sought.

Delayed periods for few days are not of much concern.
A delay of few days is acceptable.
Since, you are sexually active, a pregnancy test can be also done to rule out pregnancy.

Consult your gynecologist for clinical examination and relevant investigations.
