For How Many Time Side Effect With Dots Plus Persist?

Hi.sir, please do tell me that for how many time side effect with dots plus persist especially those of digestive tract.
My brother In law is on phase IV therapy...till start of therapy he is having indigestion and he is now mentally upset about this problem....he is on all medicine like PPPs, carminatives etc but with no improvement....,, ,??

Hi thanks for your question.
All most all drugs cause gastric upset when taken on empty stomach. Highest incidence is by pain killer. Dots also cause gastric upset but not in all individuals>some individuals are more prone to this side effects. This effect of Dot will remain as long as therapy is not completed. Once the course of Dot is completed side effect will disappear of itself. He can continue with PPI and additionally he can use antacids.
