For What Ailment Is Misoprostol Tablets Prescribed?
hi hi we confim the duration of pregnancy is 43 days, i took 3 mifepristone tablets 200 mg (600 mg) and i have 2 misoprostol tablets 200 mcg. please answer me this misoprostol tablets treatment for what porpose? because i took 3 Mifepristone tablets 200 mg after 24 hrs i didnt feel anything?didnt bleeding also why?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion mifepristone tablet is used for dissolution of conceptus.Misoprostol helps in contraction of uterus and expulsion of dissoluted conceptus.Bleeding might not be seen after taking mifepristone but bleeding starts after taking misoprostol. Take medicine for termination under doctor supervision only.Because they might be associated with complications like incomplete abortion,heavy bleeding etc.
