Forearms Cramps, Inability To Rotate Wrist, Strainful Muscles, Soreness. What Is Going On?

Went to sleep last night feeling great woke up this morning both forearms hurts and I can't rotate wrist without feeling increase in pain. I didn't work out or do anything that I can recall that would have put strain on my muscles. They feel very tight almost like a cramp you would get in your legs and then experience muscle soreness afterwards. Any ideas?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

Most propably your symptoms could be due an allergic reaction to any of the food ingredient taken the night before.

Take an antihistamine preparation for 2-3 days and keep moist heat fomentation over the involved area so as to decrease the stiffness.

If your symptoms are not resolving, consult your family physician for further examination and treatment.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
