Foreskin Started To Swell. Not Itchy But A Bit Of Pus. Little Pain. Itching Around The Penis. Had UTI. Suggestions?

My foreskin started swelling up for the last 3 days. It is not itchy but a bit of pus. The pain is 2 on a scale of 0 to 10. However, on the second day, my upper thigh area and lower abdominal around the penis started developing some itchiness caused by rash. I tried to sooth it with calamine lotion and it helps.

I have had Urinary Tract Infection and similar problem at least 3 times in the last 10 years. Never once I had swelling of the foreskin but pus previously.

I decided to take Ciproflaxin 1000mg (2 tablets) and Cetrizin 10 mg (1 tablet). I took the medication for 2 days. The swelling reduce almost completely and the pus is subsiding.

My problem is the itching around the lower abdominal and upper thighs have not subsided. Should I continue with the Ciproflaxin snd Cetirizin which will last me for another 3 days. I have not consulted a doctor yet and the medication were prescription I received less than a year ago.

I would rule-out STD since I tested twice in the past and the latest was three months ago and been with the same woman for the last two years. I have not had any intimate relationship for over 1 month now.

Please help.

Hello
Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have developed mucocutaneous genital candidiasis .

As this is very common in persons with diabetesPlease get your blood sugar levels on fasting stomach and 2 hours after lunch done to rule out diabetes.
Please take anti fungal medications like fluconozole twice daily and topical anti fungal jelly for local application over affected area twice daily.
Ensure to wash your genitals and affected area with warm water twice daily.
It should get cured within a week.
