Frequent Chest Pain For Longer Time. History Of Having Mild Heart Attack. Using Heating Pad On High, Smoker. Possible Vessel Dilation?
My boyfriend is 38 is a smoker but seems to be in good shape. He has been having cheat pain and was told he has had a mild heart attack. While waiting for the cardiologist appt. his chest pain is coming more often and lasting longer. The Er wants to admit him for a stress test. He wants to leave. My concern is he uses a heating pad every night on high. His back is mottled. Can this cause his vessels to be dialated and cause problems when he is not using it.
hello madam
thanks for tghe query
firstly smoking is an important risk factoir for heart attack or we call acute coronary syndrome in medical terms....and it is due to blockage of the vessel not due to dilation and using heat pads is not at all related....the protocol goes like ECG ,followed by 2d echo if it in conclusive andTMT dat is ur tread mill test or stress test...if indicated they may suggest you for angiogram
hope i hav clarified all your quiries
thank you regards
