Frequent Occurance Of Tonsils Need To Be Removed?
Hi Doctor, I am 32 M. I am suffering from tonsils since I was 10-11 yrs. Every 2-3 months I ll get infected(throat pain, difficulty in swallowing and fever) and will have to take antibiotics and medicines for fever. Due to above I am always afraid of taking cold drinks, pickles etc Now since last 5-6 times I observe yellow spots on tounsils... like small pimples... Is it time to get them operated ? I get them almost every 3 months for last 15 Yrs... Thx in adfvance

Yes, definitely , you should get them operated since you have been suffering from tonsil infection for so long with so many episodes and you should get operated. please discuss this with your ent doctor.
