Frequent Severe UTI. On Anticonvulsive Medication, Tylenol. Requires Catheterization. Will I Feel Better?
I am a private duty nurse ans started caring of an 18YO that has frequent severe Uty's requiring frequent hospitalizations, he is on a slew of anticonvulsive meds, and for pain he gets one tylenot xs per tube. I'm wondering if that is contributing to his problems. He requires in and out catheterization every 8H. Thank you. Ms B
Hi, I do not think these medicines have any role having recurrent UTI. Recurrent catheterization does give rise to recurrent UTI. Keep local hygiene clean and healthy. Ok and take care.
