Male Age 48 Years - Frequently to run for Urinal . Can t hold . Recenty i have done whole abdomin Sonography & the Impression is 1. Multiple calculli in Gall blader , measuring approx. 5 to 12 mm 2. Borderline Prostate enlargement -Prostate 4.0x3.6x3.6cm. Wt.=28 gms. Echotexture Normal Shall i Consult the Urologist Immidiately for medication ?
Hello Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have increased frequency of urination and urgency of urination.
Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.
Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefotaxime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.and later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
Use of alpha 1 A blockers like Tomsulosin or Silodosin will help to relieve symptoms.
Get the prescription from your family Dr. Dr.Patil.
