Frequent Yeast Infections. Sores In The Vagina. Is It Something Else?

Hello I am an 18 year old female. At the beginning of the week I notices I had all the signs for a yeast infection's I do get them often. I didnt think anything of the yeast infection as they always go away on their own with me. But then a few days later I notices I was getting a sore and then a few days later I got more all around the vagina (not centered around one place) and I still have all the other symptoms of a yeast infection. I have never had sores with other yeast infections and wonder if it could be because I have been itching so much or if it can just occur with a bad yeast infection. I read online about many women having this problem with yeast infections and I was just wondering if a yeast infection can really cause sores or if it could be something else.

Hi,
It seems that due to excessive itching there might be supper-added bacterial infection as well.
Apply triple action cream locally.
Take oral anti-fungal tablet like Flucanozole once in a week for 4 weeks.
If require your doctor may prescribe one course of antibiotic after examination.
Keep local part clean, dry and airy.
Ok and take care.
