Frustration, Difficulty Controlling Anger. What Should I Do?
HELLO. I HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR 11 MONTHS. BEFORE MARRIAGE I HAD A VERY HAPPY GO LUCKY TRAIT. BUT 2-3 MONTHS AFTER MARRIAGE I FEEL FRUSTRATED AND OFTEN HAVE PROBLEM IN CONTROLLING MY ANGER. I LOVE MY HUSBAND A LOT AND SO DOES HE. BUT THESE DAYS HIS ATTITUDE MAKES ME FEEL ANGRY AND I BURST IT OUT ON HIM. I DONT WANT TO RUIN MY RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM AS HE TRIES A LOT TO MAKE ME HAPPY. WHAT SHOULD I DO
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
A recent increase in anger or irritability could be indicative of underlying stress. Often, newly married people can experience stress because of the change of environment, adapting to new people and taking up more responsibilities. So, it is likely that these things, may be making you feel more stressed out and frustrated.
It is good that you have been able to realize your problem and have taken the initiative to seek help. I would advise you to see a psychiatrist or a counsellor, for a detailed psychological assessment and further management. You can benefit from learing relaxation exercises, stress management techniques and coping skills. You can also try yoga or meditation to relax your mind and avid stress.
Wish you all the best.

Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
From the description that you have stated it appears that your problems have started after marriage. Even though you might be loving each other a lot, a marriage to be successful requires a lot of understanding and sacrifice. You can talk out to each other about your problems and then if needed you can approach a marriage counselor.
Hope I have answered your query. I will be more than happy to help you if you need any further clarifications.

Hello........
Thanks for your query. I understand your concern with the relationship difficulties you are undergoing. I would suggest you undergo marital/family therapy sessions with a trained clinical psychologist. I would also suggest you to try out yoga/meditation and breathing relaxation exercises. Anger management techniques can also be learnt from a clinical psychologist. If mood swings persist, you then require a thorough psychiatric evaluation.
