Fuzzy Feeling In Right Ear, Paining While Burping. Infected Tooth. Prescribed Antibiotics. Advice?

I went to my PCP today and told her my right ear has a fuzzy feeling in it and sometimes hurts when I burp. This has been going on for 5 months. She looked in my mouth and saw a back tooth that I broke a year ago and said it is because my tooth is infected. My tooth has never hurt. She wants me to take antibiotics. The cause can be a caries tooth and should be treated. You can use nasal decongestant drops and steam inhalation for few days.
