GGT Level High. Is It Because Of Predisnone? Will It Cause Immigration Problems?
hi there, my doc told me my gamma gt level is to high. 110. could it be from the predisone that i,v been useing for some time now for my skin problem. can it be fixed. want to immegrate to new zealand and don.t know if they will except me with my problem. how long will it take to get better again- if it does. stop takeing the cortisoon for two weeks now. thank you so much. teresa

Raised gamma GT levels can be due to steroid treatment because prednisolone is a cause for cholestasis liver dysfunction.
it would resolve within two weeks of stopping the prednisolone, but do not stop steroids abruptly.
