Gad A Pilomatrixoma On Face, Ear, Painful Shoulder, Bruised. Treatment?
My 10 year old son previously had a pilomatrixoma on his face near his ear on the right side. He complained of pain on top of his right shoulder and I noticed a similar growth do I've befn monitoring it (because he plays sports I wanted to make sure it wasn't from that) today he complained of pain there and it is slightly larger now with bruising to the area. What treatment do you suggest, I'm worried it may not be benign...why did he get another one?
I can understand your concern. It is not possible to comment on the lesion without having a look at it. I suggest that you show your son to a doctor who shall assess him and advise you accordingly.
As your son is active in sports lets us hope the swelling and bruising is following an injury and nothing else.
I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.
Wishing your son an early recovery.
