Getting Cramps In Thighs And Legs, Muscles Tight And Sore. Is It Due To Lack Of Essential Nutrients?
Hello! I'm a 58 year old male. In the last while I've been getting thigh cramps, or back of the leg cramps. Usually I'm able to get out of bed & walk the cramps away in about 10-15 minutes. But about 4 or 5 days ago I got a thigh cramp that woke me up from a sound sleep. The cramp subsided a bit, but it left a bruise. To this day it still feels like the muscle is still tight, & a bit sore. The thigh muscle was really sore for at least 2-days after the cramp. Do you feel that I'm lacking essential nutrients? I have to go and get my blood work done, so maybe something will indicate what's going on. If you have any suggestions I'd be glad to hear them.

Rather than nutrients you might be lacking electrolytes. Instead of blood work clinical evaluation and ultrasound or if needed Doppler can prove more helpful in your case.Maintain good water intake with some salt till then.Regards
