Getting Cramps, Nausea After Unprotected Sex. Does This Mean I Am Pregnant?
Hi I am 22yrs old, me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex just recently but he didn t ejaculate in me. I had little cramps and nausea right after sex too. Does this mean I am pregnant or something else thats a more serious? I dint have any bleeding or pain during or after the sex.So what could it be?
Hi, Thanks for the query. If you had intercourse around the time of ovulation, there is possibility of pregnancy. As there was no ejaculation the possibility of pregnancy is less. But sometimes preejaculate fluid may contain few spermatozoa. And it is early to comment about the possibility of pregnancy. The possible causes for your pain and nausea are : - Pelvic inflammatory disease -Urinary tract infection induced by intercourse. If the pain persists, once consult gynecologist and get evaluated. If there are any features of infection, you may need one course of antibiotics. If you miss your expected date of periods, once go for pregnancy test. Take care.
