Hi, I am a student at USC doing my Masters in EE- Wireless health technologies. We are working on a class project where we are designing a device for performing Hba1c test. As a part of that project, we must consult a clinician, lab technician or any expert in diabetes and submit responses. The submission is due tomorrow morning (10:50 PST) and I want someone to help me right now. As I am from Engineering background, I dont know much about Hba1c. Please message me if you would like to help me. thank you in advance.
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. HbA1C test is performed to know the levels of them in blood.Blood cells are bound to sugars in the diabetic patients and they'll get converted to glycosylated haemoglobin. More HbA1C more damage to RBCs. Normal levels are 7 for diabetic poor control. Hope it helped. Thank you.
