Glands Become Extremely Swollen To Where I Cannot Hardly Swallow
I keep getting what the doctor says is tonsillitis my glands become extremely swollen to where I cannot hardly swallow right along eat. should i be concerned that is more? could i have some sort of std?

Hi,
If your doctor has done an oral examination then it should be tonsillitis.However,you might also want to rule out infectious mononucleosis or glandular fever.However repeated tonsillitis needs surgery.

but I have a question, I was trying to remember all my symptoms.
i know for a fact I've had a swollen right gland or a lump for over a year, ill just get random flare ups and get to where both glands swell up and I sometimes have to go for days without eating because I can't swallow..
could this be some type of throat cancer?

To cure the infection and inflammation of glands i would recommend you to have Tab septillin 2tab., one tab. karpooradi vati with sitopladi churan one fourth of tea spoon mixed with honey one tsf. in tds dose
to prevent recurrence and to increase immunity of body i would suggest swamla [ dhoopteshwar] one tsf bd.

This sound more like an inflammation and infection.And yes,recurrent tonsillitis may occur as flare ups like this.Its the pain that causes you not to eat.If this is such a regular occurance then i would advise surgery.Throat cancer can occur as lumps but usually the are painless and grow slowly.The acute episode should be part of an infective origin.
