Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am Aiko. 15 years old. Will be turning 16 this November. My question, is Gloxi Height Enhancer effective? I really want to grow a few inches and I am insecure of my height because (1) my younger sister is taller than me, (2) I was once a tall girl when I was young, the tallest in our class actually, (3) and lastly, I am part of a Volleyball Team and want to be a spiker.
Height of an individual is determined by Genetics, Environmental & Nutritional factors and Hormonal factors (most important the Growth Hormone secreted by pituitary gland in brain) An individual stops growing in height after the fusion of the Epiphyses (growth plates) of the long bones, which occurs by the age of 15-19 yrs in females.
And as you belong to the above mentioned age group, you may still have a chance of achieving your dream height. Make sure that you are taking a healthy & balanced diet, exercise regularly & avoid stress.
One more thing...avoid consuming any over the counter medication which claim to increase height...it may be harmful.
Wishing you Good Health. Thanks and take care. You can ask me a direct query on this website using the below link: http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-polash-sannigrahi/64925
