Hello and welcome to HCM,
A scanty brown colored discharge can be due to ovulation or some infection or simply leucorrhea.
Ovulation is sometimes associated with scant brown colored discharge and mild lower
abdominal pain. This occurs 14 days prior to menstrual cycle.
Any infection of the genital tract is associated with discharge, lower abdominal pain, itching, rashes, or
lymph node enlargement.
If any of these symptoms are associated with discharge, you can get the discharge examined microscopically.
Leucorrhea is simple
vaginal discharge associated with pelvic organ congestion, fibroids, polyps, etc.
You need to consult your gynecologist for a clinical examination, relevant investigations and management.
Thanks and take care
