Got Knocked While Playing, Vision Got Blur, Swollen Eye Lid, Lip Still Numb. Nerve Damage?

I was playing in a flag football game Tuesday night, I got knocked across the side of the head/face area. My vision was very blurry immediately after. Over the last few days it has improved but still blurry, my eye lid is swollen but I feel that is not the reason for my vision being blurred. At this point it would be impossible for me to run due to my vision being worse when walking. My upper lip is numb still. At first I assumed it was due to the blow to the head but Im afraid of nerve damage? Any suggestions

Hello,
It seems from the history that you had a blunt injury to the eye. The swelling of eye lids is because of ecchymosis or edema and this does not requires treatment as it is self limiting.
However blurring of vision needs to be evaluated and treated accordingly.
Hence I advice you to consult eye doctor for examination and treatment.
