Got Swelling And Bruise On Cheek After Accident. How Long Will It Take To Get Cured?
Hi Dr , My 2 year old son fell off his bike almost 2 months ago and banged his cheek. Now at first there was big swelling to his cheek and slight bruising but after two or so weeks the bruising disappeared and the swelling didn t. We are currently living and working in China and getting to a doctor to communicate with is some what of a problem. If we touch the swelling its a little hard but its doesn t seem to be painful on him. Do you know what it could be and how long it could last on his face?

it seems to be a hematoma means collection of blood which is now in it's stage of resolving.
normally it resolve slowly in 2-3 weeks
