Had 2 Frozen Embryos Transferred, Having Brown, Dark Red Discharge. What Is Wrong?

Hi, i had 2 frozen embryos transferred on 7Nov(today 17Nov). I had brown and dark red discharge on 15Nov which was heavy, everytime i wipe it comes out with little clot(like rubbed paper, i guess thats from the gel i used) and i used a pad. Yesterday 16Nov was slow down alot but i found blood clot. My pregnancy test date is 21Nov. Is my 2 babies leaving me?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
The possible causes for your bleeding are :
- Implanon bleeding. Due to embedment of the embryo few blood vessels can rupture leading to bleeding.
-Possible miscarriage.
If you are not using any progesterone supplementation, better to consult your gynecologist once and take progesterone pills.
Possibly this will help in preventing the miscarriage.
Then wait till your expected date of periods.
If you miss the date, go for blood test for pregnancy.
Prefer quantitative blood test.

In it by estimating beta hcg levels, possibility of pregnancy can be diagnosed.
And if there is insufficient increase of beta hcg levels, hcg injections can be taken.
Sometimes these can help in maintaining the pregnancy.
Take care.
