Had Hysterectomy Done. Increased Urination. Abdominal Discomfort. RBC 26-50. Do I Have Infection?

Hi . I had a hysterectomy (laproscopic) 3 weeks ago. I now have frequency in urination... it is increasing....abdominal discomfort at times. and burning with urination. I had urinalysis... wbc's = 11-25; rbcs 26-50; and mucous, ur sed, Ql, and automated count present. Does this mean I have an infection? I was started on nitrofurantoin monohydrate caps.

This is an obstruction due to partial blockage at any level of urinary tract either at bladder level or at lower end of ureter. This might be post operative fibrosis after surgery
Firstly you will go on broad spectrum antibiotics after culture and sensitivity of the urine for three to four weeks. IVP is necessary to find the obstruction.
If IVP is negative and no relief of antibiotics . Try alternative medicines i.e. CTM and medical acupunture.
According to CTM , it is dampness at the level of bladder. Acupuncture at the level of the bladder , while choosing point in Bladder Meridium and CTM medicines will help in three months time.
