Had Lyme Disease. Have Lumps On Wrist And Head, Sensitive To Touch. What Is The Causes And Required Treatment?

I have had Lyme disease in the past, presently I have lumps approx. 1 inch in diameter and 3 cm in depth. 2 are on my wrist (at posterior rt. side same on both wrists) i have had the first lump for about a year and a half the next about 2 months and new as of two days ago I have a lump on my head on posterior area of scalp. It is not acne, nor an ingrown hair. All are sensitive to touch. Almost feel like a bad bruise. I am concerned but my own family md isn t overly concerned and I feel like I am blown off a lot of the time. Do you have any ideas on what these are and possible causes. My age is 41, I am female.

Hello,
Thanks for the query.

Formation of skin rash or lump like lesions is common in Lymes disease.

So you might be developing the symptoms of Lymes itself.

Treatment is with antibiotics.

There are chances of relapse of Lymes.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.
