My last read was 9.9CRP. Any new info on this disease would be helpful . Thanks Deb M.
Hi,
Its good you already recognize that stopping a long term corticisteroid therapy ;like prednisolone should be step wise. I am afraid you might still need to take steroids for a few weeks. Its great that you respond to prednisolone so well with no apparent side effects. A CRP at 9.9 for the period of time you have been taking the drug and the condition is good.
Will adice hyou meet your doctor again to discuss on the duration you go to take thye drug again. Tappering off treatment in this disease is very important is actually a step wise process. Discuss with your doctor before stopping medication.
Thanks, Luchuo, MD.
