Had A Lap Appy, Period Delayed, HPT Negative. Is It Common For It To Be Delayed?

Hi, am a 24 yr old female who had a lap appy about 4 weeks ago. Now my period is 3 days late. I took 2 home pregnancy tests today and they were negative. I m just wondering when I can expect my period to get back on track. Is it common for it to be delayed?

Since two pregnancy tests were negative i think you can wait for week to see if periods come or not. Possibility of pregnancy seems less likely. If periods don't come after that than get ultrasound done and repeat lab pregnancy test.
